The Coast Guard isn’t usually the first branch of the armed services that comes to mind when you think of badass tactical military exploits, but in the course of patrolling the high seas for NARCO traffickers it isn’t all daisies and rainbows.
A recently released Department of Defense video shows a Coast Guard cutter encountering a NARCO drug submarine in the Eastern Pacific Ocean on June 18. After the sub refused numerous orders to stop, one of the guardsmen took matters into his own hands and pulled a full Rambo by leaping onto the sub and banging on the hatch until the bad guys give up. The helmet cam video of the one man wrecking crew captures all of the adrenaline and ass kicking.
In 14 total busts from May and July, this crew confiscated almost 39,000 lbs of cocaine, so might be time for the NARCO’s to come up with an alternate route.
