Russell Westbrook is on his way to another season of averaging a triple double, and also not coming anywhere close to winning a title. After several seasons spent banging on Westbrook for being a one man show who couldn’t play with others, Colin has actually applauded him this year for taking a step back to allow Paul George to take on a larger role.
Colin has also pointed out that ‘Mr. Triple Double’ is broken as a shooter and is well below his career averages in points per game, three point percentage, and from the free throw line. Actor/Comedian/Director/Podcast host Michael Rapaport listened to one of Colin’s recent rants where he called Westbrook a “shell of himself” and it got him so hot he had to stop by the show and push back.
Rap tried to make the case for Westbrook’s greatness, and shame Colin for discounting the triple double. Colin was unmoved from his position and still thinks fanboys are too distracted by triple-doubles to realize Westbrook can no longer shoot.
