The Cowboys started the 2018 by losing to the Panthers on the road, 16-8, and although they didn’t get blown out, Colin thinks they looked unimpressive in just about every way possible.
Dallas looked limited and lacked explosiveness and Dak Prescott looked average and still doesn’t push the ball down the field in year three. Jerry Jones always wants his teams to be interesting, and this version of the Boys looks boring, safe.
One game doesn’t make a season, but Colin thinks it’s clear that Dallas has a low ceiling and no chance to turn into a contender. If they struggle this year, Jerra will have to decide whether Dak is the answer at quarterback, and if it’s time to move on from Jason Garrett. Jones insn’t getting any younger and may have to blow this version of America’s Team up to make another championship run.
