The Lakers have yet to win a game with LeBron James, but they did get into their first fight of the season against the Rockets when Rajon rondo got under Chris Paul’s skin.
Many fans are expecting the Lakers to return to showtime in LeBron’s first season, but Colin thinks their roster is better equipped to play in the gutter than match teams by running and gunning. It’s already clear that the Lakers don’t have the shooters to hang with the most high powered teams in the West, but with a cast of veteran castoffs like Rondo and Stephenson, they’re M.O. might be more like the Detroit Bad Boys than the old Laker showtime teams.
“The Lakers are tough, annoying, agitating, scrappy and that’s the way they’re going to win… This team is the Bad Boys with palm trees. They’re becoming exactly what they recruited in free agency.”@ColinCowherd reacts to the Lakers-Rockets fight pic.twitter.com/onlyUc2qlA
