Linebacker Darius Leonard had a breakout rookie season with the Colts, en route to being named All-Pro and Defensive Rookie of the Year. He’s also apparently just a really nice guy.
Yesterday, when a South Carolina woman was stranded on the side of a busy road with a flat tire, Leonard could have easily cruised on by – like most people – but instead he pulled over and changed her tire as cars whirred past.
This isn’t a PR stunt. It just confirms what his teammates and everyone who interacts with him says. He’s a really good dude and a culture changer.
@Colts Darius Leonard continues to be an outstanding player on and off the field. So thankful to God that he stopped and helped me. Much love! pic.twitter.com/EKdmpCdYbH
