Darien is looking for Participants for it’s Independence Day Parade

The Darien Lions Club is seeking organizations and groups to participate in the 45th Annual Independence Day Parade.

Either by float or marching, participates are invited to celebrate the community and our country.

WCKG broadcasts from sunrise to sunset on AM 1530 and 24/7 on 102.3 FM, iHeartRadio, Audacy, WCKG.com, and the free WCKG Apps on both Android and Apple devices. WCKG is licensed to the City of Elmhurst and reaches the Chicago radio market. WCKG also simulcasts on a low power FM translator broadcasting from Elmhurst on 102.3 FM. The FCC allows parent company DuPage Radio, LLC to split up AM 1530 and 102.3 FM this October. W272DQ was granted a construction permit to move their 102.3 FM to the top of Trump Tower in downtown Chicago. WCKG was granted approval to increase power of AM 1530 from 760 watts to 4,000 watts. WCKG provides affordable and effective radio advertising to Chicago area businesses.
