Former Winfield Deputy Fire Chief Bryan Lewis of Wheaton has been charged with two felony counts of official misconduct and two felony counts of forgery after allegedly presenting a false diploma to Winfield Fire Chief Phillip DeMenza in February.
On Feb. 5, Lewis allegedly presented DeMenza with a false Triton College diploma dated May 1995, said Paul Darrah, spokesman for the DuPage County State’s Attorney’s Office. Lewis is free on a $10,000 bond.
