The Mountain of Hell mountain bike race takes place every year in the French Alps, and you don’t really need to watch the race for that long to figure out how it got its name.
During the latest edition on Sunday, one rider wrecked after losing control on the slick ice and creating a domino effect of hundreds of additional crashes that ended up with bikes flying everywhere, and riders sprawled all over the course.
An apocalyptic wreck while racing bikes down an ice glacier? Who would have thought? Well, everybody, pretty much.
