Ultimately, the objective is to build trust, and that is what we are doing through shared governance,” Rondeau said, in addressing trustees at the July 28 board meeting. “We’re opening up all matters of communication…and making sure that we are open and transparent and are accountable.”
Rondeau started July 1 as the College of DuPage’s sixth president. The board voted 4-1 in October 2015 to fire embattled President Robert Breuder.
As part of that transparency, Rondeau said she plans to present trustees with written reports at future meetings.
