In case you’ve been trapped in a cave for the last 24 hours, Tiger Woods won his first Masters since 2005 and completed a comeback most people never thought would happen. In the flurry of social media activity following the win, a video made by the golf-centric Twitter feed, Skratch, of Tiger watching and reacting to a clip of media – including Colin – and other golfers saying he’s finished went viral. The video is almost too good to be true because it so perfectly sums up the perseverance of his comeback. It turns out it is actually a fake.
With Tiger about to win #TheMasters it’s important to bring this video back. pic.twitter.com/mG9crdZl7C

The only reason to point it out is because hundreds of thousands of people are accepting it at face value, but the actual video Tiger was watching on the tablet is a clip of PGA golfers complimenting him on his then 79th tour win. It’s obviously nowhere near as interesting as the fake one, and obviously way less popular. Sorry to be a buzzkill, but it’s fake sports news. For the record.
