The Sixers have been putting out the narrative that former #1 overall pick Markelle Fultz was no longer broken and ready to make significant contributions to Philly’s run, but he reached a new low during a free throw attempt against the Heat, last night.
At the stripe, Fultz unleashed a hideous, double-clutch free throw that the internet has described as looking like Charles Barkley’s golf swing. Social media predictably piled on as it is known to do, but at this point you just have to feel bad for the kid who clearly has a Chuck Knoblauch mental block that may doom his career. Hopefully he gets right, but it doesn’t look promising at this point.

Fultz’s free throw is even more baffling because just last week he looked pretty good at the line, or at least like a normal human.
