In another tale of Red Sox fans throwing beer during the World Series parade gone bad, one dumbass young Sox fan was arrested for hitting manager Alex Cora and his daughter with an open beer that was chucked as Cora’s duckboat proceeded along the parade route.
The video shows a clearly pissed Cora ordering the duckboat stopped after getting soaked so he could point out the guilty party in the crowd. 19-year-old Patrick Connolly was charged with assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon and disorderly conduct. He reportedly told police, “I love Cora, I didn’t mean to hit him.”
Maybe Boston should rethink the whole beer throwing thing during their next championship parade, which could come as soon as February if the Pats can win the Super Bowl, and Boston’s 12,000th title.
