Ben Roethlisberger has won two Super Bowls and currently ranks just behind Dan Marino with the 6th most passing yards in NFL history. Conventional wisdom is Big Ben is a lock Hall of Famer, but Saints All-Pro defensive end Cameron Jordan wasn’t so sure when the topic came up during a press availability before New Orleans faces Roethlisberger and Pittsburgh in Week 16.
Jordan didn’t go along with a reporters assertion that Big Ben is a lock for the Hall of Fame, and didn’t even think he’s a Top 5 QB of this era. Even more surprisingly, Jordan said he would rank Eli Manning ahead of Roethlisberger. Maybe he hasn’t seen Eli play for the past five years because he’s been busy on Sunday’s.
Maybe Jordan’s just trolling, but this type of bulletin board material never seems to end well.
#Saints Cam Jordan is not buying the idea that #Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger is a future Hall of Famer. Apparently, he’s not even one of the Top 5 QB of his era – “I’d honestly put Eli before I put Ben” #PITvsNO #HereWeGo https://t.co/eUxl5N3Nxspic.twitter.com/uoBdAEu4jN
