Technology has continually become more and more integrated in our everyday lives, including the addition of new cameras in sporting events that give us perspectives to make us feel closer to the action. But sometimes they can get too close.
Last night during the Titans throat stomping of the Jags, Tyler Lewan was being attended to on the field after going down with an injury and happened to notice the skycam hovering over him to get a closer look. Lewan decided to show his displeasure at the invasion of privacy by flipping the cam the bird, and honestly you can’t blame him. It’s one thing to get a different angle on a long run, but using skycam to zoom in on human suffering is a little over the top.
