With LeBron gone, most expect the Cavs to lose a lot of games in a rebuilding season, but don’t tell that to Tristan Thompson.
The apparently delusional center spoke to the press yesterday, and said he still considers the Cavs the team to beat in the Eastern Conference, until they’re officially taken down by waiting contenders Philadelphia and Boston. As Thompson sees it:
“We’re still four-time Eastern Conference champions, so until you take us down from that, teams ain’t got much to say. Boston, Philly, they ain’t got much to say
“Boston had homecourt Game 7 and lost. Philly, you guys almost got swept. Toronto — we already know that story. So until someone takes us down, there’s not much they can really say.”
Okay Tristan. Get ready for an 82 game reality check.
