Residents and business owners on June 27 had the chance to comment on a wireless technology ordinance being considered by the Wheaton City Council.
The ordinance would address the growth and expansion of cellular technologies, including small cell sites and distributed antenna systems. The proposed ordinance, which council members previously discussed at their May 9 meeting, would require equipment to be placed on an existing structure or utility pole on an easement or in the public right-of-way.
