Wisconsin may have put the Big 10 in Jeopardy according to Dan Patrick’s sources.
Dan Patrick describes what may be a nightmare situation for Wisconsin and the Big Ten. That region of the country is flaring up with COVID cases and it seems that it’s not a question of if, but more like when and how many outbreaks we will see with Big Ten squads because there is no effective way to set up a bubble for college football. It may be difficult for any Big Ten schools to play enough games to qualify for the College Football Playoff Final Four. Wisconsin will be trying to negotiate with the Big 10 over their inclusion for future games. After having cancelled the season, then reopening the season, the Badgers may have a hard time playing against Perdue. When the Big 10 announced they were cancelling the season, Dan was curious how much they looked into alternatives. Dan says “When it comes to outbreaks, it’s not an issue of ‘if’ but ‘when’.”
